Wendy Hamilton

Administrative Coordinator, RCAT Network

Wendy Hamilton (she/her) grew up in Brazil with a scientist father that taught her to love Nature. Beyond loving it, she felt the need to understand it, so pursuing higher education in the biological sciences happened naturally. After her bachelors, Wendy was presented with the opportunity to work and travel to beautiful places of the world, and so, life took her into the fields of translation, interpretation and mediation, providing a wholy different set of skills.
Today, Wendy has settled in the West Coast of British Columbia and joined her knowledge of biological sciences with her comunication skills through a masters in science in environmental pratice. Her mission is to bridge the gap between the scientific and emotional understanding of current global problems, while raising awareness of the many brilliant solutions that already exist.

Solutions that just need good people to put them into action, which is where the Rotary comes in.

Wendy initially joined the Rotary due to admiration of their efforts fighting poliomyelitis but continued on board for the excellent people and the work being done to better the future of Planet Earth and all life on it.
